The Quiet Palette Within

There is a voice in all of us —
a voice that dreams,
believes,
and cares.

Words that do not want to belong,
do not want to conform—
they want to create.
These words want to paint.

You hear the voice 
when you silence the noise
around you
and inside you,
even if only
for a fraction of a moment.

Here is what my heart paints 
as I navigate through life—
its palette—
as I express how I feel
the world around me,
feel myself
around a world,
and mostly,
dare to fee
